Stranded a few extra days in Gerogia. My transmisson crapped out on me. F**king cars. Not looking forward to the $3000 repair bill. Happy New Year to me.

My Oma lives there and I am going to go give her a visit... Its been almost a year since I have seen her, but it can get pretty insane being trapped there with her without a car. Luckily I have a friend or two that have not yet escaped the city.. they actually LIKE it!!!! But you know if you HAPPENED to be driving my way for something we could always meet up and take some snaps!
I remember exactly how long it takes to get to the Dallas area from SA.. I drove to many a concert at the Bomb Factory. Is it still around?
The new camera I am using is this one...
Its a fuji finepix 5100...I really love it and its so much better than my little point and shoot I had that broke, but after yesterday I am looking at it aghast... My boss just got a cannon d20.... Drool. Its so fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! ONe day I will get my mitts on one. For now though I am more than happy with my cam. If this little dinky one just had slr I think I would be happy. I still do have an film slr so if I REALLY wanted a certain quality to the pics I could start carrying that around. OH! That was the ONLY thing I did not like about the Cannon.. Its sooooo heavy and I carry my cam with me everywhere so the lighter digi cam is so much easier!

Oh and the whole Krabuki thing.. its not so very exciting....Its just like a crabby kabuki... the moniker dates back to an all hallows eve costume from a few years ago and me all grumpy from not having had any sleep for 2 days aforehand due to work and party commitments.
Its also the nickname my friend who dubbed me uses for his reoccuring bouts of lice de pubis... -hey at least he is getting some action-I was being pretty bitchy so I figure he wanted to be a bitch right back and knew I would laugh and snap outa it.... or as it happened curl up on the couch with some hunky dude.

no manson shots. ministry. morgan and i just went to see manson - had to drop my bike off at my friend's house for the winter and didn't really want to add the pressure of having to rush into philly and shoot manson - also didn't feel like calling in the favors to get a photo pass.
So this weekend wasn't too bad. Worked all day Saturday which is not unusual. My first assignments of the day was to shoot an in store appearance at a Wal-Mart of Susan Lucci, of All My Children fame. She was signing photos and bottles of her new perfume. Do you freelance all these photo gigs you speak of, or do you work for someone? I was just wondering as you always seem to be such a busy bee.
OK that vidio is sooooo creepy!!!!! I am going to be singing that on the bus on the way to work now... Maybe the crazy people won't sit next to me if they think I am touch more touched than they!

Hey man... don't have the 135 yet. Should get here today or tomorrow. Gotta big weekend to put its through its paces - have a Lucha Libre event in Richmond, FlyBall Tournament and then a Rollergirls exposition match - all situations where the lens should really shine. I'm disappointed to hear that users have reported the lens can cause the same "interference banding" issue I've seen with my 50MM f/1.4, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
