Yeah another shot from that Polyphonic Spree ocncert. Sometimes its just easier for post photos than to write anything.

Thanks to Barbarella for the cool Pen Pal Package she sent me.

Been trying to stay busy as usual. Been trying to find a direction. Still trying to figure out what i wann be when i grow up. Not really sure if i have the motivation neccessary to be a photojournalist and i think i'm ok with it. I just want to make pictures and be compensated fairly for what i do. Noone gets rich doing photojournalism. My photo-j friends seem a lot more motivated and idealistic about it than i do. I love the work...I do. I think i have maybe been away from the structure of a staff position so long that now i think in terms of money instead of just making photos that illustrate the story to the best of my ability. While digital has made things easier and faster for what i do I think its also made me lazy. Back when i shot film it seemed like i took more chances ans was more creative. With digital i can shoot it, see it immediately and leave when i get what fits the story. With film I wasn't sure i got it sometimes and would stay longer and challenge myself more to comeback with good images. Whatever, i just want too shoot and not have to worry so much about the money part.

Whats thea phrase...do what you love, the money will follow? Wating for that money.

Plus i think i'm not pushing myself hard enough creatively. My photos don't seem as cool as they could be. I need a recharge creatively. I need to try and see things with new eyes.
