Stranded a few extra days in Gerogia. My transmisson crapped out on me. F**king cars. Not looking forward to the $3000 repair bill. Happy New Year to me.

My Oma lives there and I am going to go give her a visit... Its been almost a year since I have seen her, but it can get pretty insane being trapped there with her without a car. Luckily I have a friend or two that have not yet escaped the city.. they actually LIKE it!!!! But you know if you HAPPENED to be driving my way for something we could always meet up and take some snaps!
I remember exactly how long it takes to get to the Dallas area from SA.. I drove to many a concert at the Bomb Factory. Is it still around?
The new camera I am using is this one...
Its a fuji finepix 5100...I really love it and its so much better than my little point and shoot I had that broke, but after yesterday I am looking at it aghast... My boss just got a cannon d20.... Drool. Its so fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! ONe day I will get my mitts on one. For now though I am more than happy with my cam. If this little dinky one just had slr I think I would be happy. I still do have an film slr so if I REALLY wanted a certain quality to the pics I could start carrying that around. OH! That was the ONLY thing I did not like about the Cannon.. Its sooooo heavy and I carry my cam with me everywhere so the lighter digi cam is so much easier!
For every pic I post I have 5-10 I don't. As far as obsessions go its not a bad one to have. Once I can make a living doing this I will be the happiest bubble! I am trying to get into portraiture more (aside from the band related stuff I have been doing).
We'll see.
