So...labor day weekend.
Not so busy withthe working for the paper....kinda slow. Should have been out shooting personal work or something. Helped some friends move. Had dinner with some friends i hadn't seen in a while.....mmmmm Sushi. For most of the rest of the weekend I got sucked into the television. Picked up Seasons 5 and 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer recently. I got into the show late so i am playing catch up. It amazes me how fresh the episodes were so far into its run. I thoroughly enjoyed the musical episode. So I've been living in Sunnydale the last few days. Mmmm hot chicks beating thr crap out of monsters. I love me some Willow.
Anyway Buffy appreciation aside, Pretty lazy weekend. Was supposed to go rock climbing outdoors this morning but i was told by people i was going with that it was raining out there so we couldn't go. Yay 2 more hours of sleep. Went to the rock climbing gym later only to find out from others that in fact did not rain out there. Oh well, so much for the gorgeous day of climbing weather.
On a happier note....i decided to finally switch to Canon from Nikon. Picked up a used EOS 1D in really great shape. I was gonna wait for the 20D but i shoot a lot of sports and the 4.2 megapixels and 8 fps (frames per second) will be handy. A nice change from the 2.74 megapixels and 3 fps my Nikon D1 has. So now i gotta sell the nikon stuff to get lenses for the Canon. Hello Ebay.
