So I made a spur of the moment decision to get a massage on Wednesday. I figured I deserve it after the crappy few days I have had since Saturdays robbery. If you don't know the story go back a few entries and read all about it. Anyway stopped by one of those massage school where you can get an hour from a student for like $30. Now before the jokes begin....this was a real massage...NOT the kind you can get with the "happy ending."
So the massage school was all booked up for the day so I couldn't score a walk-in. I was unfortunate because the girl who was helping me was this cute little tattooed thing with a cool brooklyn accent. I'm not used to hearing one of those in Texas. Anyway she direct me to one of the other licensed therapists in the building so I am able to get a massage. Apparently I was in more of a need for one than I thought. The therapist Pam was surprised i could even function normally with how tight my back was. It took a half hour for my shoulders to even get relaxed enough to get the knots out. Even then she still couldn't work on them all before the hour was up. I'll have to go back in a a week. I'm gonna have to get some more freelance photography work. I could get used to getting regular massages. Gotta see if my insurance will cover this.
Anyway, afterwards it was suggested i drink a lot of fluids today since massage apparently releases alot of toxins. Last time I got a massage i mus not have drank enough because i got sick for a week after. Has this happened to any of you? I was also advised not to work out later that day which sucks because i usually do cardio and then go to the rock climbing gym. So now what am i gonna do with my evening?
Have no fear...as it happens the girl who I thought was blowing me off for 3 weeks but was apparently going through some sort of emotional antisocial turmoil decides to call me and wants to hang out. Well since I can't work out...might as well make out. Who am I kidding....I'll take the make out over the work out gladly. SO she comes over and greets me with a nice long kiss as if nothing ever happened. As if she didn't drop off the face of the earth for 3 weeks. Well i guess what i have been told is true.I like my women crazy and possibly medicated. Apparently i find them entertaining.
