So i generally abhor this day for all the commerciality but i really have no reason to hate this day otherwise anymore.
I have had a wonderful woman in my life for the last 3 years now. She is super, wonderful and amazing and i probably don't deserve her but i am thankful that she is with me.
So anyway, I was in the card shop today...along with about 20 other men shopping for various Valentine's day cards and gifts. (Dont get me wrong. I had a gift for my lady love already i just wanted to get a second card for her). And i was noticing...there really arent any manly V -Day cards. Its all pink, red , hearts, and flowers and crap. So i stopped one of the old ladies working the shop as she passed me and asked her if they maybe had any cards with monster trucks, ninjas, explosions, or Chuck Norris. Needless to say, they didnt have any. The lady suggested i check in the kids section. i don't think she was amused by my question but the 5 or 6 guys in the aisle started laughing.
Guess i'm gonna have to go home and draw that card myself.

I loved all the guys running around the shops on the day, freaking out. How can you miss that it's approaching with all the ads! Duhh. You can usually find more interesting, non-puke-inducing cards online..
