*Gasp* Can it be? A new post!! Bout damn time.

Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I haven't been on much. Been distracted by work, the girlfriend and other distractions. Though i hardly think my girl would appreciate being called a distraction. But, frankly, she's my favorite distraction and I'd gladly stop playing on the intraweb to spend time with her.

So anyway i thought i'd jsut do the usual photo update stuff. Now this is jsut a teeny tiny slice of what has been keeping me away from here recently. i shoot a lot of sports and news for one of the papers here. Most of which i don't think any of you would be interested in so i'll just include the fun stuff.

Eric Clapton. Now sometimes, usually with older artists, divas, and singers who were skinny in the 70s but are now huge (yes, you heard me Linda Ronstadt), they make us shoot from the back of the house far away from the good close up shots. they force me to borrow a 400mm lens to get up close on them anyway. So its hard to make an interesting photo. But hey...its still Clapton. I suspect the Police will have us shoot from the back of the house by the soundboard too when they pass through here.

Yep. Thats American Idol winner Taylor Hicks. Lotta older ladies in the front row. "He looks like George Clooney's brother" I heard one say.
