Kind of a busy week after a busy birthday weekend. Last weekend was pretty good. Got to hang out with various SG folks the weekend before and catch a movie. Kinda in celebration of Doxie and my birthday. We went and saw the DaVinci Code. Some people in our group were a little talkative and actually caused some people to relocate to a different part of the theater. Kinda funny. Toward the end of the movie there wasa scene between Tom Hanks and Audrey Tatou and AllyCat_13 screamed out "Just fuck her already!" After the movie let out we hung out outside the theater for a while came back and hung out at my place.
Saturday (the 27th) was spent getting a lot of phone calls for birthday wishes. Then later went with the g/f to a party at her friends house. After that we went and saw X3 with some friends of mine. Not as good as the first two. It wasn't bad. Dark Phoenix just reminded me too much of Evil Willow from Buffy. Oh and if you haven't seen it stay to the end of the credits.
Sunday (28th) i got to go rock climbing outside. Hadn't gone in a while. It was nice to be out and climbing. I have been spending so much time busting my ass and working so hard to pay off credit cards (2 down, 1 to go) that i have neglected my climbing and exercise. But that will change soon.
Had a busy work week...Nothing too exciting until wednesday got to photograph this guy.
He's starring locally in a production of the "King and I" Got to shoot for maybe 10 whole minutes.
Was singing the song "La Bamba" pretty much the rest of the day.
Had to shoot an award presentation at a luncheon later that day but stayed to hear the keynote speaker. Anybody wanna guess who this is?
Nothing really exciting the rest of the week. Friday night hosted a party my g/f had planned for my birthday. It was her idea to do it. Had dinner with some old friends and friends from work then went bowling. Bowled another 200 game (206 to be exact) My fourth 200+ game! Saturday was spent shooting a Dallas Cowboys Mini Camp which is basically just football practice. Was looking forward to being able to shoot the Bauhuas Nine Inch Nails concert that night but the reporter wans't abe to get me a photo pass. I was very disappointed. Fortunately an angel by the name of Parikhan was able to hook me up with an extra ticket since she and Pingz wer going. I'm so glad she was able to make it happen. It was a very sweet thing for her to do. The seats were better than i expected. I offered to put out but i don't think Pingz or my g/f would have been cool with that.
While i had a blast at the show. it was hard seeing things that would have made awesome photos. But i am just happy i got to go at all. I heard Spaceboy was there. I also ran into SG Doxie and Spekter there. After the show met up with the newly beardless Xcdat and DarKPrincess at Cafe Brazil for food.
