So Rico has decided to renew his commitment to fitness this year and get back into shape again.
Went went for a bike ride yesterday for about an hour with a friend of mine who just got a new mountain bike which wasn't too bad. Fully anticipated being sore today which is fine. Its the first time i rode since i lent my bike to a friend of mine who went to Burning Man back in August. The bike was still covered in sand from the desert. So after my ride i took my bike to the bike shop for a tune up. The tech just sorta looked at my bike (its a road bike) he gave it a real long look like it really wasn't worth it. Said it would be $70 to tune it up. So i figured $70 could go toward a new bike. So after some shopping and learing about how much bikes have changed since i actally purchased a bike last, I decided to get a new bike...not quite an entry level mountain bike but not too fancy. But i couldn't afford to get it outright so its on layaway for the next 3 months.
Then later i decided to go to the climbing gym a few hours later and work out there. Between work and the holiday season it gets hard to go to the gym and climb with any regularity. So it wasn't a very good climbing day but at least i went i guess.
Then this morning i got dragged to a yoga class after not having done any yoga in over a year. Not pretty.
So now i'm watching the today show and you know what.....
Ann Curry is freakin hot.
Also it was good seeing the SGDFW folks at bowling on Sunday. I didn't take very many photos at all this time. but I was glad to have and actual SG (Doxie) show up and represent. I'm sure this has been asked before but how many local (meaning Dallas/ Fort Worth) SGs are there?
The ones that come to mind are Doxie, Adrenalynn, Ella, Tex (who just left ot study photography in California), Libby, Rox, Morticia (is she back or is she in Colorado?) and JennRose....who'd i miss?
I didn't take many photos since i got there late. Go bug irishmykl for his.

OH well, maybe you'll do hundreds of pushups for me while I'm there.
Just don't get too tired...you need that shutter finger...
