hello all! i hope everyone's holidays were enjoyable, as mine were. collin and i went to fenelon falls to visit my friend mikey from camp for his christmas party on thursday, and that was really awesome. it was nice to catch up with old friends, and as mikey and collin both share their newfy backgrounds, mikey was really anxious to meet him. we also had our 1 year anniversary on friday, which was quite good. we wandered around downtown for a bit, took a nap at the hotel, went on MOD, went out for a late romantic dinner at the old spaghetti factory, went back to the hotel and went swimming/hot tubing, and had a nice long sleep. it was definitely nice.
christmas was pretty nice as well, santa was good to me and i got quite a few nice things;
+ tv for my bedroom (i already had a vcr/dvd player)
+ dvds: charlie and the chocolate factory, the nightmare before christmas, wallace and gromit (3 episodes, katie - the wrong trousers, the one with the evil penguin, and the one with all the sheeps!), edward scissorhands (special collectors edition), from hell, virgin suicides
+ two rollerbooting t-shirts
+ a bar shirt (i'll be 19 in 43 days!!!)
+ a shrug to go over the bar shirt, and underwears with my gift certificate
+ moneys from the grandmas
+ a nice watch
+ new black hightops (mine were 5 years old already!)
on boxing day i got to hang out with 3 of my 4 bestest friends! visited hayley at work, then went shopping with ba and jackie, then hung out with hayley for coffee, then ba slept over and we watched movies and talked for a really long time. it was nice to catch up with everyone again, but i really missed you katie! yesterday and today has just been hanging out with collin, which is nice as well. i missed him. our friend tania and i put his hair in dreads yesterday... it took 8 hours!!!! :| they look alright, but the roots needs working on. right now i am in the process of dying my hair, so i'd better get going...
