I've also been giving a lot of thought about establishing a photography business of some sort. I want to talk to anyone on here who has any advice or just someone to bounce ideas off of.

bummer about the job, i think the suckiest feeling is when you think you are a shoe-in for a job and it doesn't happen. word to the wise - if it's dealing with the field of photography, it's almost never a sure thing, tends to be a lot more about the people you know. sucks, but i'm speaking from experience.

I have an art co-op going on where I live. Best not to use SSN as second form of ID. Get a birth certificate instead so you can be sure models (etc.) are ACTUALLY over 18. Not really an issue if you're bringing in people who you've known for a long time but if you start getting people you don't know birth certificates are the way to go.
