take it from me, DON'T work at UOP. I worked there and thankfully left to go back to school full time, and my boyfriend handsomejoe is continually looking for another job (he's in the western international university portion, but it's the same job.) it is a very high pressure sales job, even though your job is supposed to be counseling students. when i worked there it was beginning to be higher pressure, and now from what joey tells me and my best friend melanie tells me who still works there, it's become ridiculous. it's extremely hard to make the numbers they expect you to maintain to keep the job. very very tough. the people who are generally very good at this are car salesman types, so if you are one hell of a salesperson and could sell an icepop to an eskimo, this could be for you. anyway, i get a weird chill up my spine now when i see University of Phoenix, so i thought i would warn you. good luck!

i love photography, are you into b&w or color? and i was totally going to tell you about the photography group, but it looks like esther beat me too it. do you print your own stuff? if not, the best tip i can give anybody is know your printer, personally. your negatives/files might look awesome, but you want to be able to communicate with the person printing them on exactly what you're going for. when i worked at custom shop, that seemed to be a really important aspect for the high-end nice photographers we had there.
