pardon me for complaining a lot. hahah... but im tired of getting phone calls about things that happened a month ago.
i guess i have to go hunting for things, even though im really broke! yay christmas. but i have to make three scarves for a friend for her xmas gifts, so the faster i knit, the more money i have. problem is i ran out of a color so today im going to have to go find more. i generally bought at zellers because they had a nice selection, but theyre all closing, so most of the yarn sections are pretty empty. hopefully i can find what i need today and finish the scarf today. times pressing as well. i want to finish them well before xmas. not to mention that i still need to get on that baby link costume. its just driving me a little crazy since the pattern seems more complicated than it needs to be.
i have to find my bf a bday present. its next week, and i totally made a mess of my finances recently so i failed completely at actually getting him what i wanted. hopefully i just learn from it all and gain the skills appropriate to become a master at saving and buying in advance! i wanted to get him a funny shirt from old navy. i never generally shop there so i missed it, and i dont work in a mall or downtown so i never go into many stores other than my own lately...which is probably a good thing considering malls can be dangerous for me. anyways, the shirt is hilarious, and i saw it because my boss actually wore it to work! and everyone loved it. now the bf is kind of country, so deers and log cabins and such on a shirt is appropriate.

i originally wanted to get him a bangin knife because he wants one, and get it engraved but i dont have money for that. and i figured i could go low on his present since i planned to get him something big for xmas.
also, this is now in my possession, and i have no idea how im going to get by not wearing it everyday through winter

to add to my productivity for this afternoon, i learned how to knit a herringbone stitch, it's lovely. i'll post pics when i get started. also, i cooked quite a bit! i made turkey meatball soup with veggies and quinao, and pumpkin, cranberry, chocolate chip muffins.

im debating making the shirt finally for my bf. ill have to fabric hunt
