A Silent Trip Back to The Hill.

There once as a time when I fell through the floor, into a world of despair, filled with hatred. So cold.
I was trapped in my mind by a small square of paper, I held it, So Heavy, Try to smile. No. I can't fake it.
It was hell, It was pain, It was a place that I dare not utter its name. It was hours, It was days. No. It was minutes, they say.
It happened long ago, in a time I have now forgotten. Untill just now. I'm back in that place. So rotten.
It started at work tonight, I was giddy & happy. Then the music started, So Cheesey, So Sappy. But something happened, and I was drawn back to that place in a flash. I had to get out or I would never last.
So I walked down here to this shop on the corner. To get out of my cold hell, To sip some Coffee, and regain my composure.
I had no idea that I would stumble into this, A Coffee house poetry session, Something I could have missed.
But now my piece has been spoken, and my mind no longer broken.
So I'll pass on the mic, and let another's words be spoken.
