which cheech and chong movie was it that chong is talking about an old folks home for hippies?

that would be pretty cool. i hope they have something like that for the rest of us, non-hippies.

dood. seriously. let me pay you for the disks. besides, it'd be a good excuse to get together for some of the old what for and swap some stories. and we should keep in touch since Ember is gonna come through town at some point in the next few weeks.

yesterday, 6 people from our system got layed off. i feel like i narrowly dodged a bullet, as i am still kinda new there. i hope there isn't anymore of that coming our way. the only thing worst than having a job is looking for one.
so the day was kinda stressful, so i went home, slept all evening, got up about 11:00 and went...

this will turn into a mindless ramble as i have little to say.i am trying to put off chores like feeding myself.

i want meals in pill form. then, when i have the time to eat well i can do it properly. i love to cook and enjoy quality food, but rarely have the time or initiative. if there was someone else here, i would...

I'm a nanny for some bazillionaires and Tuesday is the housecleaning day and I do whatever needs to be done the most for the week for a few hours. They have two older sons, like going on 30, plus the triplets who are going to be 3 next month. Anyway - this past Tuesday I had to clean the full-gown-boy/mens' rooms.

surreal

Filthier than anything I've ever seen before. Awful. Seriously - I don't care how rich you are, there is no excuse for things like that. It's not so much housework that bothers me, but it's cleaning up and picking up after full-grown adults that irks me to no end. I feel like I'm promoting slobbishness, weekly fat checks made out to me or not, you know? I could go on... but I won't.

I was just inspired (?) by the roommate comment. lol. smile

don't I know it though... and I do... unfortunately for me I really am not to attracted to anyone else around here, or around her ... let alone in her circle.... messing with her friends would not win her... I have to find my own path but you are right about most things you said. and I will take your advice into account.

For real, tatertots, from a fucking bag?

Send me your address and I will fire off a tape that I think you will be very interested in. One half is Aine Soph and the Crowley ritual. The other side is Zero Kama, a very obscure English recording made from bone instruments.

today is a lazy sunday and rather dreary. i can hear church bells chiming one o'clock. i can hear a v8 on the street outside. i can smell the rain and i wish i could stay inside and read today.
i bought a stack of books yesterday. i got a book of curses, a book about pi, one about mexican mysticism, and "chariots of the...

I like that mountain climbing was an integral component of crowley's life...it somehow brings more validity to his spiritual perspective in that it appeared to be grounded in the world of wildness.

There is a band called Aine Soph that recorded one of crowley's rituals. I can't recall the exact theme or what in particular is intended to be conjured but I have had some strange visceral reaction to the recording. Perhaps in trade for the comp I will dub a copy for you--that is if you are interested.
xmt:
sounds like a deal. sorry i have been dragging my feet on this. i haven't had a chance to do the other disks yet. the first one is really good but needs the others to be the "greatest new wave comp".

valiumthyme:
so can I put in a request for your 80s comp that you mentioned awhile back?
xmt:
i wouldn't say "i'm" into crowley, although i have been more interested as of late. i am fascinated by all things occult and have been doing some research. i have been reading about rosicrusians, golden dawn and the like.
i am designing a sci-fi / horror world concept with esoteric / occult overtones.

i gotta run. work .
yes to new wave.
