so i've been a little ill the last few days and opted to take the day off and try and get some things in order since i'm moving and all.
i like moving.
i actually enjoy packing. it's something of an experiment with spacial relations and i have some perverse affinity for containers. i don't know.
i found a small box that i keep pictures in. a few days earlier and i had been thinking about a particular picture i had taken of my when i was maybe 11 or 12. i looked through the whole stack and it's not there. i suspect it was destroyed during a purge of all evidence against me.
it was taken looking up at me, probably by my brother. i was wearing a yellow '57chevy sparkly iron on tshirt, ridiculously huge aviators, and a tall black and white mesh truckshat. i had my hands on hips, head cocked back and licking my lips.
it was so absurd and awesome.
i was so embarrased by that picture, i'm sure i torn it up. hopefully my mom has a copy, or even negatives, but i was pretty thorough about things like that.
destroying pictures that is.
i was such a dork... but now the kids wanna be just like me.
