So last night was pretty good. I went over to Cody's house after 7pm and we kicked it there until about 9pm when the reservation for the private room at Rack Daddy's was. Cody's dad got the reservation, so props to him. Cool guy, I might add. I bought Cody's first round of the night, starting him out with tequila, then I got him hooked...

i was glad to have not been drinking and they automatically assumed i was the designated driver so all my cokes were free. but i must say, the penthouse club is probably the nicest club i've ever been to. and see and sg dance, made it that much better. sgco rules.
vkeithv:
penthouse club is super pricey...i'm used to the hip hugger back home where the girls bring tapes and have a radio they use for music. plus, the club is a little more loose than most others. a lot of sex from what i hear.

i know, but what I am saying is that even if you ever do think that way, just remember that you have a golden heart and a sweet personality, and thats what wins in the end.

severus:
That sucks, and also I dont think common people can profit from the stock market because most of us dont have that kind of money to put into it. You can get a few bucks of it but thats all, so much crap with it, I dont like that system at all I dont like that everything should be up for sale. It's such an evil world. Always have been I guess. Glad someone is actually reading my journal ha ha, thanks. And people dont get cooler because of there scenes or tattoos... at least I dont think so.

So, City of God is quite disturbing to me. Not in the way that a serial killer would kill his victims, but in the fact that there is such apathy in the world. I wanted to vomit watching this movie. It's so horrible to see such poverty, crime and such disregard for human life. Every criminal prays to God, wears a rosary, thinking that that...

Yah the whole doc./movie was disturbing... it was interesting to see how the whole drug community did help the people in the city.. even if they didn't do the drugs.

There's really not much to say today. I was woken up by the sound of knocking on my door (I think it was my door) at 8am this morning. I wasn't getting up for that shit. I got up around 11sh and I've just been hanging out all day. I just cleaned my bathroom and I need to do a little bit of laundry and...

The reasonable man is the lonely man, because he reasoned away everyone and everything else.
its hard to be reasonable when there are feelings involved and you feel for this chic.
I'm just being your friend, I do care about what happens to you, like it or not. Maybe Im too compassionate, you seem to think so. Wasn't that you who tried to lecture me about being taken advantage of? It was, maybe you should heed your own advice every once in awhile.

I got some dvds today that I should watch, one of which I just did.
Try to guess which one:
Boondock Saints
South Park: The Movie
City of God
I've never heard of City of God until I started talking to this girl outside of my Macroeconomics class. I'd see her smoking a cigarette, by herself most times, between classes. She's cute--kind of a sport...

good that it wasn't a crappy show. i'm looking forward to this one.

I HAVE to see Agnostic Front before i die. damn you and your show going to.

I left a comment in Sophie's journal today with a brief explanation of my outlook on recreational and habitual drug-users. JessicaLea has heard this preach before, but it's all deductive and associative reasoning to why I think drugs are the downfall of civilization. The main cliche I use is: if they don't care, they don't matter. Sometimes I hate trying to preach to...

good philosophy. i've been less and less about that lately. it's sad, because i should be less accepting of all the stupid shit people do, but i'm finding the opposite. i guess it's hard when that's all that is around me. makes me tougher about my own beliefs, but less caring about others.
severus:
so how was the miliatary and how long were you in it and all?
So, I talked to Caitlin today and things might be looking better for the two of us.
Things that bum me out:
- making Caitlin mad at me
- I have an Algebra and Philosophy test (and paper due) on Monday
- having to go to work tonight
- these damn kiwi fruit I'm trying to eat won't peel, so I have to eat them...

metal fest was last weekend. I missed it but got to hang out with caliban again at their show at cbgb. got there right when they were going on. got to see it does today and god forbid as well.

sophie:
that was an excellent comment. thank you so much. i agree. although i mostly feel more sorry for people who use drugs, than anything else. i don't think they're pathetic, i just think they're wounded. the sad fact is, no one can heal you any better than you can heal yourself. doctors and therapists can help, but ultimately it comes back to number one.
yup!

yup!

I have the day off from work today and I've scheduled an eye exam appointment to get some contacts. ABOUT FUCKING TIME, ASSHOLE!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. I said procrastination is one of my vices, didn't I? For those of you that don't know: I've been wearing the same pair of 1-month disposable contacts since I moved back to Texas in AUGUST.

It looks like it's gonna rain, so that means The Great Flood of Genesis is going to frequent north Texas again.
I'm not even going to start ranting about the weather in Texas again because I know you all know I hate Texas....

"It's horrible to think all your best days could be lumped into a few short months, if that." yes it's so fucking horrible and sad to think about and I wish everyday could be one of those good important days and that it's possible but sometimes it feel like it's just not possible. I want it to be but... I dont know. Today is a better day though. How are you?

I think the Transplants have a new album coming out in May. Either that or their website is waaaaaayyyyy out of date. They're part of this year's Warped Tour, so maybe they'd have some new material? Seems logical to me.
As far as Lar Frederiksen and the Bastards goes, they came out with an album entitled Viking. Should have been titled Lars' Ego Stroking. That first release of theirs was just fucking awesome, straight up punk the way it should be done. I caught the previews for Viking on epitaph.com and only saw Lars being the "badass" he is. Later on, friends told me it was unintentionally funny when the lyrics are read sans music.
