Not too bad of a day so far. I went and saw Caitlin for most of the day. Nothing interesting but lazing out on the couch watching TV. I swear the only tv I watch is the tv at Caitlin's now. Well, I take that back. I saw that bullshit Straight Edge episode of Judging Amy Tuesday. 
Target is cutting hours, because well, in business moves, it's easier to not pay your workers than to cut back on expenditures. Last night they only schedules 2 CASHIERS! So a lot of us had to take time out of our day to respond to back up at the registers.
I like the extra money and everything, but some people need it and that's a good way to piss off employees by not paying them or telling them "we're cutting back your hours because we're too cheap to pay our employees." I understand the move from the upper management level (you don't want your profit sharing benefits to suffer!), but it winds up poor management at the lower management level. Oh well, what can I do? I'm not going to open my mouth and call them out because I've already done that and I'm not liked for it. "Seems we got a problem with a free thinker around here!"

dude, that sucks. i've had a few friends at target complain about the same thing a few years ago back home. but, they did get all the star wars figures first. they said that helped balance things out.
