I went to go see The Hoods last night in Dallas. Pretty good fucking band, and Winter Solstice was pretty good, too. I'm not too into new Victory Records bands but some of them surprise me. It kinda bums me out that Victory had so much respect in the hardcore scene, but after capitalizing on the screamo-pussycore scene, it kind of went downhill. But I guess you can't keep a record label going if your best bands (i.e. Earth Crisis, Warzone, Shutdown, etc.) break-up. Next big thing, I guess they say.
Anyway, I was trying to get in some good dancing, despite my cold/flu or whatever the hell it is that I got. I got told that my 2-step is now called the "Jolly Rogers" 2-step. I guess that'll go with my "pirate-core" picture I have for my profile. Hahaha.
Anyway, I have my first test Monday and a paper due in Philosophy. "Define philosophy and defend it" was all the professor said. How vague, but I that's philosophy for ya!

yeah, victory for the most part blows these days. i'm not too into their bands, but i guess you have to change with the scene especially since you don't have too many EC's, strife's or warzone's out there. too bad, that would have been a good thing.
