Christmas Eve as usual. My mom got me a pair of skate shoes I've been wanting/needing and my dad got me $20 gift card to Starbucks (I need my coffee). That was really it. My mom got a diamond ring from my dad on top of the necklace I bought her. She loves them both.
So we didn't have to go to my dad's parents' house today, but tomorrow we will. My mom secretly told me I should make up some "prior engagements" if I don't want to go. I really don't want to because of my fuck-ass brat cousins, but I kinda do because of the work me and my dad have been doing over there.
Oh well. Blah, blah, blah. On to the weirdest holiday: New Year's. A holiday to celebrate the rotation of the Earth around the Sun and our hangovers.

umm, wow, their menu is the shit. looks really good.
being in boulder, you would think there would be a lot of veggie places to eat, but sadly, only two. neither are very big. but every where else has a veg option. chicago on the other hand. such good food.
