The Hatebreed show was pretty good, except for the fact that the metalhead morons came out of the woodwork and fucked up any chances at hardcore pits. I had a pretty good time, other than losing my army hat (oh well I can get another at Army/Navy) and having my lip busted during the Sick Of It All "Braveheart" game. So for part of the show I had to put my bandana over my face to keep from bleeding on people; I looked so rediculously straight edge.
For those of you that have never been to a SOIA show before, the pit splits in two and both sides charge each other like a battle scene in Braveheart.
Anyway, I saw Ruth and her friends after the show. I stopped by to say "hi" and I didn't feel welcomed, so I left. I was talking to her about it 20 minutes ago, actually. I'm not happy with her, because of just regular ol' mixed signals, but then it's probably my fault for not going with my gut to bail in the first place. Oh well. Fuck her. She's a "scenester" I realize and I fucking hate scenesters. Not as much as fashion core kids, though.

last hatebreed, soia show also included slayer and meshuggah....so the metal morons were in full force. didn't help they provided beer at the venue. so wasn't a lot of fun. and there was no chance of a hardcore pit, just idiot's bashing eachother. not fun.

there is a few other bands that do the braveheart thing...Lamb of God & Chimaira both have done it before too...they just do it in the huge ass crowds tho
