Thursday my friend Shane came into town (Dallas) for a wedding in the family for the weekend. I met Shane in A-school (navy's aviation job training) skating one day. We skated around the base, gapping stairs until he got wheel bite and twisted his ankle. We've hung out ever since (unless he was on det or deployment or I was).
Anyway, Friday I hung out with until the he had to get ready for the wedding and we wound up skating at that X-Games skatepark in Grapevine Mills. He and his family were staying at the Hilton across the street.
Last night he calls me up and says they're all going out to Hotel Za Za, this ritzy ass hotel to party. By no means am I a baller to be kicking it there. So after getting lost in fucking Dallas forever, I find it and we kick it until last call.
Damn... I wanna be a balla, shot calla, 20 in. rims on an Impala... Shane definitely has some hotties in his family and they're pretty well-to-do. He's the most well-off friend I've ever had, but one of the best I could ever ask for.
