When did SG start this dating thing? Anyway, I hope I did okay on my History test this morning. I was kind of sketchy about what year it happened, but I least I knew what happened.

Listen to "Elder Misanthropy" by Black Dahlia Murder. Doesn't it just want to make you hardcore dance?

Thursday my friend Shane came into town (Dallas) for a wedding in the family for the weekend. I met Shane in A-school (navy's aviation job training) skating one day. We skated around the base, gapping stairs until he got wheel bite and twisted his ankle. We've hung out ever since (unless he was on det or deployment or I was).

Anyway, Friday I hung out...

This sucks! mad I just bought this ticket to go to the Unearth/Terror/The Black Dahlia Muder/Remembering Never show on the Oct. 19th. I just found out that I have a Sociology test scheduled that night. FUCKING SHIT! mad

I hope that I can weasel a make-up test or my professor pushes the date back.

Thank you! Birthdays rock.

If you ask about taking it early, I'm sure the professor will let you. Most professors are cool about having a student make up a test early rather than later. Good luck!

There's a hardcore show tonight at the Ridglea, so I'm definitely there. They're also hosting a hardcore/metal fest on my birthday!!!!

Headbanger's Ball Tour is at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas on November 11th. HIMSA, BLEEDING THROUGH!!!!

Unearth, Terror, Black Dahlia Murder on October 19th!!!

I've already bought tickets to Unearth, but Headbanger's Ball Tour hasn't gone on sale or something.

I wish Unearth and Black Dhalia Murder would come to my town! Sounds like one hell of a show. I'm finally going to see Himsa when they tour with Cradle of Filth.

So, I've been kind of seeing this chick, right? Kinda like her, kinda don't. The sex is awesome, she's smart and cool as hell, but she's kinda flaky. And then all she does is talk about "her kids" that aren't even hers. This chick seems like she's baggage and too many loose ends to me. I'm not sure if I should justs drop her and...

I made a fucking 67 on my first Sociology test! mad I know what I did, though. I consistently mixed up Talcott Parsons, Robert Merton and Charles Mead.

On a positive note, I learned how to play "Buried Myself Alive" by The Used. It didn't impress me with its degree of difficulty. Rather weak if you ask me. whatever

I have a question on the whole straight edge thing I never understood why it's so 'popular'...I thought straight edge people didn't have any tats, piercings...and then of course the well known other stuff...how are you going to do that with tats and piercings?...oh and niiiice quote from the 5th Element...I love that movie heh biggrin
Ciao

*edit*...lol looking around the site and what not...I retract my question or random pondering...apparently I was wrong...the people I know that I concider 'straight edge'...don't...I just generalized...oops...*slaps own hand*

Straight Edge is a lifestyle in which you do not consume any substance that could alter your mental state. This includes, alcohol, nicotine, heroin, cocaine, caffine, etc, etc...

You do not need to be vegetarian to be Straight Edge.

Sex, tattoos, and piercing are fine. Unless you are Catholic or Jewish.

I ran into my high school buddy, Kevin, working at the Hot Topic in Hulen Mall. I can't believe how much he's changed. He's all kind of gutter punkish now. I went in there with my something-or-other and there he was staring at me in confusion for a minute. It was a amazing to see him. He's in some band that apparently toured the west...

Okay, so being online got more boring since I don't get to see naked punk chicks. Call it weakness, call it what you will. It's something to occupy me while I'm sitting at my computer.

I'm back, so sue me.

Not too much to say, really. I found out this evening that a friend of mine died over the weekend. He lost control of his motorcycle and went over a 200 ft cliff. frown

Well, I've had my fun with this website for a month and I think I'm going to have to decline renewing membership.

Well, keep it real or get in touch if you so desire at adawnfalling@msn.com.

I have English Comp this evening. I wonder what fate has in store for Mike. On cool note, this girl in my Sociology class blurted out in the parking lot that she really liked my shirt. I was wearing a black Champion "Promises Kept" shirt I bought at the Sick Of It All/Terror/Champion show on August 1st in Seattle. I guess I'll have to do...

I ran into two friends from high school on my way into English. Kara went to Burleson High School but she was part of our little group then. She told me about a few of my friends and I got her number before she had to go. No sooner had I turned around I saw this kid Steve walking in. He told me my friend Jeff's brother joined the navy and he's trying to go to Search Air and Rescue school in Pensacola, FL. Pretty cool, huh? biggrin
