I have been remiss in updating the last few days. Things have been a little busy. Last weekend my best friend from highschool came to stay with me. It was good to check in again, even though we're different and his now preggers wife is a little annoying.

Saturday evening we went out to a great French restaurant. The servers kept piling on gifts from the kitchen and bottles and bottles of wine. I tried an amazing pear calvados. The highlight was probably this truffled cottage cheese with pumpkin seeds. Of course, the carpaccio was an event as well. A magical evening of eating, drinking, and conversation.

Yesterday I bought chairs for the back deck. I now have something to sit on besides an old picnic table. I also got some pots to put plants in.

Last night I went to Richie Hawtin (aka Plastikman). Everyone from the old crew was there plus some hot new additions. I danced danced danced into a sweaty lather.

Tonight I go out with some models that are in town for the Fall shoots already. I'm leaving town Friday, which is my bday proper, so we're all hanging out tonight. I'm a little tired, but I always enjoy myself with the beautiful things.
