i did an awful thing last night: i watched Elektra. The bad woman with the killer breath? yeah, she was a good metaphor for the entire film. but it entertained me well enough.
i was supposed to play tennis today with a friend but i'm feigning business (which is almost true). here's the trouble: i have an assistant but she does everything half-assed or not at all. so i usually have to do her work for her over again. i try to like her but it really gets to be a drag. she is also a complainer. and i didn't hire her, my boss did before i got here. so its a bit complicated. i've opted for pushing her off on someone else and getting someone new of my very own.
reason two for not playing tennis (indoors, i might add): it is gorgeous out today. so i'm running downtown to grab some ticks for shows: gogol bordello, metric, she wants revenge.
i decided to behave yesterday and not go drinking but jogging. i can't stand jogging. jogging is retarded. yet i feel better if i do it, and since it is newly Spring it is nice to be outside and smellfeelhear things.
i'm fixin to plan a trip in May either philly, d.c. or nyc. i have good friends in these places with whom i can comfortably lose a week of my life in the high life. as i might have mentioned before my good friends here are newly dead. 1) now married avec child 2) newly epileptic 3) on anxiety meds. i'm not sure what happened, all of a sudden their super powers ran out.

ive tried jogging before and couldnt do it. yet i find a treadmill works fine, i dont know why. anyways enjoy your caffeine high and your shows
