last night i cooked pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, carrots, and peas. americana at its finest. then i watched napoleon dynamite for the first time so i could finally understand the annoying allusions hipsters make to it. i found it funny, but not very. poor hipsters. then later in the evening i was about to go out to an old friend's going away party--but that was a different life and i decided to stay home and sleep. tired of going out if it is just for the same old scene. i'm retired. getting through Foucault's introduction to St. Anthony today.
