I am busy busy busy getting ready to go to Palm Springs. Wasn't feeling well yesterday so I spent the afternoon in bed watching the Sapranos.

My friend who went missing from a bar a few weeks ago turned up dead in a ditch. It is so surreal I haven't even dealt with it yet.

i'm hungover. again. i did take a break all during xmas, but then friends were back last night and . . well. . i'm hungover. my stomach's all acidy and yarfy. ugh.

my xmas eve dinner was incredible: halibut cheeks, grouse, and pheasant. then i cooked rabbit on xmas. i did the little varmit in brandy-soaked prunes and dark chocolate.
