Well, I made it through another weekend. Too many bipolar/manic patients on my unit this month. The whole unit was awake and in the dayroom by 6:35am this morning. Too many patients to monitor. They were bitching about their points (not getting enough), about the room checks during the night and how the flashlight gives them weird dreams, and about how they should be allowed to go to breakfast when they want (nevermind that the breakfast trays don't arrive until around 7:15am).

Rode my bike to work last night and to UT this morning, even though my truck is running again. I feel good about getting the exercise that I need. This afternoon may be a little rough with the heat and all, but I will get through it.

Talked to one of the kiddos this morning. He was talkative as usual (sarcasm here). I need to get up there and see them soon. I thought about taking them to dinner Wednesday evening since I have off. Here's hoping I'm not too tired.

Went to fix the rest of the fence for my old boss Sunday morning. 80 miles round trip to go out there. And what do I do, I forget half of my tools so I am unable to finish the job. Now I have to spend another day this weekend to get the job done. UGH! The repair bill came for the broken propane line. So I figured to pay half of the $170 bill. It's the least that I can do.

Guess I better get back to work and finish this stupid grant stuff. That is what they are paying me for.
