To celebrate I listened to an old LP "The Star Wars Story" it's a narrated story of the first film using audio and music clips from the film to great effect. Very dramatic and compelling. Probably due to how well the film itself is put together. :)

Well Grendal Covenant was a super fun show (Grendal was honestly, too loud, I couldn't follow along to most of their songs so just ended up that head nob at the bar for awhile) both of the openers - Peter Turns Pirate and Ghostfeeder - were a real treat as well. Covenant was, as usual, amazing. They opened with a soundscape that was unlike anything I'd heard before. Even though it was a familiar enough thing to have in an industrial set, this was fucking complicated and super subtle and I really hope it makes it way onto one of their albums or a sampler even if, even if, it won't be the same without the lights and reverberations of a concert in a converted warehouse.
Hooray! My storming the base order came in yesterday while I was at work. Here is a very incoherent and excited video (unpacking footage) of me unwrapping a gift for myself. Which I described as my birthday present about two months late. It's just a gift. For me. From me. Maybe a little bit for my friends.
I mean this wasn't going to be accurate about me in any case as I do not partake. But I'm still frustrated by having an inaccurate horoscope once again describe other people. One of these days a Horoscope will accurate describe a more sedate and boring Pisces. But until then. :^ p
