It didn't try to over explain it's science fiction. It speculated but then had the cure provided by the same organization / masterminds creating the cause.

Just had a bunch of friends explain to me lots of different ways to "get better" at different gaming genres. Training exercises. Routines. Some of which are adopted from Pro League gaming coaches. I'll still play Overwatch on occasion but basically I think any game with a competitive multiplayer design as it's core is basically just going to be inaccessible to me. Although I'd been kind of leaning towards this decision anyway. For example I watched some Wacky Jacky streams of PUBG and then watched a bit of the Overwatch League and it's just like... like I get that for the most part I'm not going to ever end up in a game with anyone that good but the average skills in games like this go up over time the longer the game exists. Which is partially encouraged in part by the loot box daily quest so now I just see it less about making a fun game and more about aggregating your attention span over time. Eh. It's really late I should have gone to bed awhile ago.
