I didn't like parts of it but I liked a lot more of it than I was expecting to. It's just impossible for the cast and writers to meet the bar set by Patrick Stewart and his supporting cast or Avery Brooks and his supporting cast in the tense diplomatic sessions that closed out season 2. I found all of that being resolved far too easily for my tastes. Buuuut I'm still pretty impressed!
