When you start to dislike the protagonists from the start it's usually hard to finish the film.

So I don't know that I'll be able to sit through Bill & Ted's 3rd self indulgent acid trip. While I don't dislike them, they aren't ... likable and while their daughters might be their own characters right now they seem like mini-me's? Why not just make the film about their daughters and include all that annoying wedding stuff in a "documentary" that plays during the credits. I might try to watch it again later in the week when I'm not scheduled to work later and can mellow out with a little sauce. I'm wondering also if maybe they should have waited to release the film in theaters. In a theater usually the audience is sort of pot-committed. I remember when I went to see Scott Pilgrim (by myself, which was, I was told later a mistake?) and had the same sort of reaction. I went ahead and stuck out the film and had an okay time - I did like the music and Alison Pill was/is a delight.

I stuck with it. It was fun. Not a lot of fun, but, fun. The film really could have been more about their daughters ... the climax was a lot of fun but it was strange... I was picturing ways it could have been, more. But it was, more than I expected and more than enough to close out Bill & Ted's journey.
