All right this play list was almost two months in the works. I ended up obsessing a fair amount. I think I see an easy break to make this into two playlists and I might still do that because a 3 and 1/2 hour play is a little excessive: but it gels now. I'm not sure I'd ever be entirely happy with the play list as the theme is, well, as the title, Accommodating Afterglow And Appropriate Accounting, should explain includes songs and topics of sex work. But I tried to kind of balance allure, and, sentiment while including some songs of practicality. A few of the songs have been more depressing the more I listened to them. Roxanne is so confounding, the song's written from a point of view that more and more - as I get older - sounds problematic, his possessive demands have an edge to them I don't like. I included more songs about love and attraction than I was going for, but those emotions don't disappear or stop happening in sex work. Over all what I'm saying is I struggled with tone. I like where it is now, but I might break up the play lists if I listen to it later and decide it's not in parallel enough to be one list.
