I'm not in the least religious and don't have much in the way of a capacity for spiritual experiences that aren't personal and usually more from significant conversations with friends or strangers. There are times when I'm a touch awe struck by an obvious natural beauty - in a natural setting, that wasn't intended to be a tangential reference to appreciating beauty in the human form; which is difficult in America because our society has so many body issues. But I digress ... there are brief flickers of "spirit" felt in me only in hearing a song or maybe an opera. This set list kind of reflects that, but also is something I put together specifically because Lyle Lovett's track Church is one of the best pieces of music ever made. It's up there with My God by Jethro Tull. This set list was tweaked and added to, the original list is from 2009, I think?
