hooray, my cds finally came in the mail. biggrin
the model finally came in for our art class. somewhat irked at the girl next to me who can't recognize the artistic value of nude bodies.

am utterly sick of trying to make this projekt for design work as the paint is utter crap. teacher acknowledges paint is utter crap. "like painting with elmer's glue," she says. so why, oh why, are we still using it? i'll probably have to start over.. i have til monday though.

have made the mistake of bidding on two items that are the same on eBay. since i have been bidding on this item for several months now and losing them all, who would have guessed that i might actually win? finally finally got the item, but am still winning other auction. lose, dammit, lose!

eDit: am debating whether or not getting morning sequence for video is worth getting up early when i can possibly sleep in til 7:30-ish. hmmm....

we haven't gotten any art models ourselves, but i imagine we must, eventually. one of my friends was in an art class a few semesters ago that had nude models. she's a bold, talkative sort, and persistantly requested that the teacher get them some *male* nude models (up till then they'd only had girls). i think that's worse than having classmates who don't appreciate the artistic value of nude bodies... sitting next to somebody like that in such a situation would make *me* blush, at least. course she got her comeuppance - the fellow who finally showed up as their model was (1) somebody she already knew and (2) was not attracted to, who (3) was a karate devotee at the time and spent the whole class period standing in karate stances for his poses. karate stances generally involve knees bent and legs wide apart, too. i'm told it was thoroughly scandalizing.
