Simple (but deep) Q & A

I did steal this from @nebula so I could sneak in a few more posts before my membership expires (again) in 4 days (from tonight).

1. What song have you been listening to on repeat lately?

Lewis Capaldi's "Before You Go" which hits really hard these days for (somewhat) obvious reasons as the world goes mad and mental health becomes a full time job.

2. Do you have any upcoming tattoos planned?

No, but I have a lot I'd like to someday get once other portions of my life get ironed out and become more manageable.

3. What’s your Hogwarts house?

I don't have one, but I'd likely get stuck in Slytherin.

4. Describe your ideal home.

Probably the hardest question I would ever have to answer because sometimes I wish I lived in a big city with a cool (but probably small) apartment which would force me to interact with people, but most of the time I secretly yearn for a decent sized place in the middle of nowhere where I could be alone because it feels somehow fitting. Though I do believe the only way a place could feel like home is if I had the right person to share it with because no matter the location or environment home is the place you rest your heart and sharing that heart with someone is something I would like to one day do.

5. What’s the last meme you saved to your phone?

I don't look up memes at all. The only memes I usually see are the ones people show me through their social media accounts while at work or when out to lunch with a friend.

6. What’s your regular coffee order?

Regular coffee. I'll drink a mocha or some sort of frozen mocha, but I prefer just brewing up a good coffee that I can drink black at home. I'm on the verge of becoming a coffee snob and prefer a good brew over mass brewed nonsense from a shop. Not quite the same with tea because I'm fairly open minded and haven't had a bad cup (unless it was simply a flavor I didn't like). I enjoy a good coffee, but I am a bigger tea head.

7. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I think of dumb selfish things all the time like super healing so I could be the next Wolverine or controlled pheromones so I could convince a girl to like me through human biochemistry, but I think I would end up taking some form of healing power so I could help heal the sick and wounded whether it was straight healing or almost an exchange (of sorts) because powers rarely come without a cost and if that cost meant taking on someone else's pain to heal them I would probably still go with that, honestly.

8. What musical genres do you like the most?

The two I listen to most are hardcore punk (I grew up on a lot of Straight Edge and NYHC) and hip hop, but I listen to everything from indie folk to big band to country to just about anything out there. I'll even listen to some of the garbage music out there that offers no redeeming value lyrically or musically, but I do get tired quickly of choatic noise and misogynistic lyrics that fill most commercial rap songs.

9. What do you look for in a partner?

I'm fairly open so I would hope they were open when it comes to most anything in life. Intelligence, humor, supporting my mental health and understanding, someone who is willing to take me on adventures and teach me new things (or learn new things with me). I want to expand my own world, my mind, and my heart. I want to constantly evolve. I love my video games, binging Netflix shows, and sometimes disappearing on my own to try and cope with depression in the middle of nowhere, but I would really like someone that would be my partner in exploration as we explore each other and support one another. At this point I would gladly give up sex and stereotypical romance (candles, kissing, etc) and settle for the romance of the road (figuratively and literally) with someone who wanted to grow to be a better person and share that with me and the individuals that surround us.

10. If you could time travel to any time period, what would it be?

I know a lot of changes have happened and many things I would disagree with (racism, sexism, etc), but I would probably place myself in the 1920s or 1950s because I have never felt like I belonged in any of the decades I've lived through. Life wasn't the perfect picture we paint it to be in the movies and on television nowadays, but the romance that was once felt during those times of war and prosecution seems even more lost among most people today as everyone becomes influenced by trolls on a digital screen or thinks self love means allowing someone else to love you even though you're a total dick. Maybe time travel needs to be my power so I could lose myself in time and find where I truly belong even though most would think my ideas radical or ridiculous coming from modern days where women vote, sexuality is expressed everywhere, and there is no segregation.

Damn, this was deeper than I thought.

I'm not tagging anyone to take this, but feel free to take it if you have no already?!
