That was fun
Finally DJed on Friday, I didnt care if I got a reaction because I was so fed up with the shit everyone got me playing I just brought down stuff I wanted to hear. I still took requests but I also played some stuff to piss everyone off. Matt and Steve fucked off before I finished my set so I stayed with Chris, Rich and Zack. I really didnt want to go back to the Tap because I knew I was just going to watch Steve and Matt get drunk and Id just get depressed, and because I actually stayed I finally got to meet that girl Roya after a year of hearing about her, reading her posts on local messageboards, exchanging awkward glances in the Tap/Manor. Chris got pissed off when he found out the barmaid hed been chatting up for the last two weeks already had a boyfriend but thankfully because Zack and Rich were there it wasnt me who had to console/talk him out of getting into a fight. Asked Hayley if I could DJ again in two weeks but she said it may be longer as someone else wants to try DJing, so it could be a month until I get another set (if I get asked to DJ the night November Coming Fire play Bar M Im just going to say Im busy), and frankly I dont really care if I DJ at the Manor again. Hardly anyone likes the music I play (well I did meet one bloke on Friday who missed my set and said he was sorry because Im a legend DJ) and I only do it so I can annoy people with my taste in music (as apposed to getting annoyed by the shit that normally gets played there).
Saturday stayed in and watched Cannibal Holocaust (which was good) and The House By The Edge Of The Park (which was shit).
Two good weekends in a row, Im due for disappointment next week. DO YOUR WORST MEDWAY.
