Friday: Dad has cropped his hair off in preparation for next week operation. Went to the Tap a bit later than usual as I was sick of waiting ages for anyone to turn up. After half an hour Chris sent me a text saying he was at the Post Office, I went down, met him, Ollie and some of his mates came down, went out in the garden, had a laugh. Some guy Ollie knows came up to me and said "alright Stoddard" thinking I was Ollie's mate Nick. That cunt Kaye came along, his mate told Chris that he's been banned from the Tap after he started on Fubar last week. Went up to the Tap, Ollie had to apologise to the woman bouncer before he could be let in (he reckons he must have called her a fat dyke to get banned for six weeks). Hung out with some more of Ollie's mates, Zak came along with a girl. Had a walk around ran into Geoff with Lindsay who I haven't seen in ages, she's working at one of Medway Tattoo's sister studios in Gravesend. It was a genuinely alright night, played pool with Chris then left at half past two.

Saturday: Chris broke with tradition and actually came out on a Saturday with Zak so he could see for himself just how crap it is at the Tap. Spent most of the night in the Cage room, Ollie showed up after a while. We wound up leaving before midnight, got something to eat at the kebab shop and left having learned nothing except that having mates with you at the Tap on a Saturday night makes it just that bit more bearable.
