Friday: Got to the Tap, walked straight into Steve, now that he's gotten to know his girlfriend a little better he's going to spend less time down the Manor with her. Sat in the games room with Steve, Liam and Gabriel until it got too noisy, the table that we used to sit at back in the day was empty so we crashed there. Later Chris showed up with Rhiannon, then Sam, then Ollie and Ed with a bunch of their friends, then much later Mills after he saw 300 and it shaped up to be another fun night. At one point it looked like we had to leave when the bouncers threw Liam out for falling down the stairs twice, somehow he managed to talk his way back in, got himself another drink (much to Gabriel's protest). Before we left for the taxi rank I took Liam outside for something to eat, he made me walk him to a cash machine first, then had to watch as he threw up in an alleyway near the Post Office, saw one group of Chavs fighting near the Pentagon (well I saw fighting, more like pushing each other and running to avoid being pushed back), police talking to people near the Halifax and another group of Chavs arguing loudly across from the Post Office. Steve and Gabriel found us, Liam threw up again, then we got food. Got the taxi to Liam's house, he got out with Gabriel, gave Steve a bunch of loose change, went to my house, gave Steve a fiver then he took the taxi back to his place.

Saturday: Dad asked why I photocopied the map, I told him it was because I was going to Steve's new house "where's he live?" "near Bligh Way" "you'll need a blummin' stabbin' jacket going there." Got to Steve's before eight, found him with Liam and Nadine watching TV, a couple of their college friends came by and they went into the garden for a joint, I made myself coffee. They came back in then we watched Dog The Bounty Hunter. The college friends left and they all went out for another joint, then we watched The Punisher, then they went out for another joint. Steve brought down his guitar and practice amp, gave Liam an acoustic and treated me and Nadine to Clutch, Judas Priest and AC/DC covers, then they just jammed for a bit. Watched TV until after two when Steve and Nadine decided it was time for bed, they did offer me to stay the night but my own bed was in walking distance so I declined. Only passed one Chav on the way home who looked a bit frightened, well he would if he saw a guy in a black hoodie, black jeans and black trainers smiling friendly at him (it just unnerves them).
