Friday: Left the house before twelve to walk to Rochester train station. Went from Victoria to Berwick Street, picked up stuff by I Object and Report Suspicious Behaviour in Reckless Records, didn't want to walk along Oxford street so I took the back streets, when I passed a restaurant off Soho Square I saw Frank from Gallows sitting by a window with someone, I recognised him by his tattoos and ginger hair. Went in Virgin and got the new Richard Pryor DVDs then headed for Camden. Got a bottle of Orange juice for Marks & Spencer's and a take away for the Vegan Chinese place then got the train to Kentish Town. Saw some of the guys from Denounce walking around (and I'm not sure but I think I saw Jessika from Suicide Girls walking around too). The queue was massive and they still hadn't opened the doors an hour after they were supposed to do so I decided to take a walk and look for a place to piss, I found myself walking around for an hour (I even made it as far as Tufnell Park), eventually I snuck into the MacDonald's in the High Street. The queue had gone right down, Camorra were just finishing, I heard from one of the bouncers that the reason the doors where so late was because all the other bands had only just got there, it took nearly an hour to get the next band onstage.

The Distance: Not as shit live as they are on record.

Destiny: The most boring European Hardcore band I've ever seen, and I've seen Misconduct, twice.

Comeback Kid: Pretty good, played pretty much the same set I saw them play the last two times. Got kicked in the face by a crowdsurfer, set me up for punching anyone who came my way in the kidneys, well mostly I was just making sure their feet were out of the way of everyone else.

Walls Of Jericho: Awesome. It occurred to me that Candace does all the same shit onstage that I hate guys in Hardcore bands doing ("I want to see everybody fucking moving, nobody standing still, LET'S WREAK THIS PLACE LONDON!"), but she does it way better. They finished with Revival Never Goes Out Of Style, Candace came to the front of the barrier and I got to sing on the mic, I also got toppled over with everybody else trying to get to the mic but thankfully I got helped up quickly.

Terror: They're one of those bands I'm ashamed to admit I like and wonder at times why I do but seeing them reminded me. Ok, so they're idiots, they're a fun live band. Also they made me realise that when hardcore bands scream "CIRCLE PIT LONDON!" it's the same as when Metal bands go "SCREAM FOR ME DONINGTON" Scott told everyday to stage dive and people flooded over the barrier and eventually about three people managed to get past the bouncers and onto the stage.

Madball: Again, not fucking rockets scientists, in fact they're pretty much responsible for all the little wannabe gangsters in Hardcore today but they know how to put on a show, they managed to cram eighteen songs in forty five minutes.

Sick Of It All: I've seen this band fourteen of fifteen times and I will never get sick of seeing them. They opened with Good Lookin' Out for the first time in ages and played a great set, you can tell they're in love with their new album but they played all the crowd pleasers too. Half an hour into their set I went to get my backpack from the cloak room to avoid the rush, too late, the queue nearly stretched back to the bar, but thankfully because of the way the forum is laid out I could still watch the stage, saw Freddy from Madball come out and do Forked Tongue from back there, they finished with Us Vs. Them, they didn't do We Stand Alone like they promised they would at Download but I can't complain with what I got.

Got to Kentish Town station and found that I lost my train ticket home, got a three pound underground ticket after struggling with the self service machine. Got to Victoria, went right to the back of my train but thankfully there was no one checking for tickets, for once I can honestly say I love Network South Eastern. Got to Chatham and was in no mood to go home so I went to the Tap, found Zoey and hung out with her crowd for a while, there was some entertainment when a guy in a rugby shirt tried to touch her up and she sent her big mate Deano with two of his mates to beat him up (nothing much happened, sadly), at half past two I decided I was tired enough and got a taxi home.
