I just spent the night watching a bunch of much younger people rock out to some bands while grumbling about not being able to play music for people my own age, so I'm gladly accepting condolences on adding another year. Then again, I never want to be their age again, so I guess I'm ahead of the game.

damn, don't you hate when you have to return some keys after using them but after you put them in your pocket, you forget you ever had them . Now I have to get up early tomorrow for work and return the keys before anyone notice they are missing ... my brain fails me again ...

Going back to work after a week off is definetely not a good feeling ...
Does it pays off to do a job so fast that you have nothing left to do for a few days ? Lately, I have been so bored at my job, I wish I can log on to SG and check out what's happenning ... but according to my workplace,...

This week, my workplace sent me to a training class (Deploying Intrusion Detection Systems). The class is OK , I thought it would be more intensive but it is mostly the teacher explaining and talking a lot and not enough hands-on practice.

now for the exciting part of this journal, I left class early today, and I remember that MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) was...

I was able to visit the Picasso Museum last summer when I was in Barcelona. Piccasso is famous for his cubism, but actually he painted in a huge variety of different styles and mediums. Very talented.

Oh, and thanks for the encouraging words the other day on my condition, I appreciate it. I think you're totally right about keeping a forward and positive outlook, I'll try to remember that.

Lately, I have been so bored at my job, I wish I can log on to SG and check out what's happenning ... but according to my workplace, SG is a porn site thus block for my safety ... I was thinking of emailing the system admin to unblock the site arguing that this is an artistic web site, that the nudie pics are photo art ... but then I thought some of the pics are pretty hot and then I don't want to be known as the SG guy in the office ...

awesome bro!!! keep us posted...I ate like a beast this whole past winter and have seen great results (even if I'm now having to do a few extra crunches every day) wink

Thanks for the encouraging words about my tests.

And good luck with the power eating. It may take a bit of time for your system to get used to it, but keep at it and you'll start to see results.

oppss, I meant to say the movie "In America" not "Made In America" . very similar names, very different movies.

So it snowed again today, and I was feeling kind of sick so I called in sick to work. Good thing because it started to really pour outside.

So I made an appointment to see my ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) doctor to see my...

This is sad day. I have to removed my industrial piercing in the top lobe of my left ear. It hasn't been healing well and I think it is developing into a keloid (a little bump in the skin where the piercing is coming out) .
Here is picture of my piercing.
(For some reason I can't insert a image so I'm just going to...

Today, something interesting happened to me . I was waiting in the subway during rush hour and as the doors opened, this old lady pushed everyone aside and rush into the subway to grab the last seat available. Just finished watching another episode of the L-Word.

I hate my job. I need to look for a new but I have grown too comfortable in it because I can do everything so easily. If I look for a new job then I have to start over again and proved I'm good at what I do.
On the lighter side, I love the snow storm we got today, it was so refreshing coming...

X,
Help me out here.

You keep saying that you 'understand things on the ground'.

So, rather than call BS, I'm going to ask you politely to explain why I should believe you when you say that.

Now I have military experiance, and I have a fair number of friends that are over there now. Some of them are about to rotate back, some of them are rotating in. Myself, I'm in the hopper to go. I've volunteered to go twice with each rotation so far and haven't been allowed to reclass out of my current duty position.

About once a week I read the current Division Commander's Sit. Briefings just so I can keep an eye as to what's going on over there. I'm not just sitting at home watching TV and reading print media, but instead am reading first hand accounts and reports from the men and women who are serving there.

Now you've been pretty aggessive against me and some of the other Vets that are on SG, but I'm trying to give you the benifit of a doubt here.

Just leave a note in my journal or whatever.
