Well, part of the reason that drugs are so much more expensive in this country is that a lot of other countries actually have price controls, whereas here drug companies are pretty much allowed to charge what they want. But a lot of it has to do with the marketing practices of the pharms. It used to be the case that drug companies weren't allowed to advertise on television (possibly also radio and print ads?), and since the decision to prescribe a drug rests solely with the doctor it would make sense if they went back to this practice - but if they did, they wouldn't have patients browbeating their doctors as much to prescribe drugs that they might not need, which is why the drug companies would strongly oppose this. Of course, they spend loads of money pushing their drugs to doctors as well, not to mention paying off politicians. Damn, I hate the drug companies...

Yeah, you're probably right. I've already got a pretty good range of motion in my arm, and I'm not even having to wear the sling much at the moment. But I am a drama queen, so I'll still be whining a lot for the next few months.

I haven't updated lately, I realized that I have become a work drone/workalcoholic for the past month. So much shit going on at work, and I'm the only who seems to know what the hell is going on, it doesn't help that I'm responsible for supporting a whole building . damn, I want to become the manager of my own department but I can't seem to make the right connections .

On a side note, I used to admire virus writers because they can do one thing that I haven't tried yet, but fuck my computer is so full of trojans and adwares, that it took me two days to get rid all of them.

TIP: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BUY AN ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE, DOWNLOAD "ANTIVIR XP" AND INSTALL IT ON YOUR COMPUTER, IT IS FREE . REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER AND GO INTO WINDOWS SAFE MODE, THEN RUN THE ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM. ALSO, "SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY" IS PRETTY GOOD AT DELETING ADWARES

One thing that I forgot is that these new viruses/trojans/adware disable virus detection in regular Windows but in safe mode, they can be detected and deleted.

Not at all, and it's certainly understandable to have an emotional reaction to something like genocide, especially when you have a cultural link with those who have been persecuted. And you certainly seem to have been more respectful in articulating your opinion than a lot of the people in the forums usually are. So it's all good.
