So today was interesting. I worked and there were some seriously stupid people there. Not being able to tell which showing of Pirates is in theatre 3 because they all have 3's above them (ie Pirates 3 on the marquees) is, as my manager said, "a special kind of special".
And then I started a new blog. Specifically for my writing and other such nonsense. I have a personal blog, which you should all check out, because no one reads it anymore: Livejournal and then theres my new one: Blogspot. Mucho thanks to Dictionary Girl for any and all advice.
So if we haven't spoken much ever, or you haven't realized what a dork I am, check out those two pages, and make a little bit of fun of me. My personal one is as dramatacular as you'd expect from a livejournal. Thrill to the soap opera that is my life! Chill to the neat little titles I come up with for entries! Gasp as I don't update!
Yeah.
So this summer of 'letting things happen as they happen' is working out pretty well. I'm kind of dancing around the issues of dates with a girl or two, which I am perfectly ok with. None of us want committment and I've had fun with them. So we'll see if those go any further. Who wants to go to a playground with me?
As for this lovely Memorial day weekend, I spent all day yesterday at Movement '07, or as I will always call it since thats what it was called when it was FREE, the DEMF or Detroit Electronic Music Festival. I had a blast. Went with my friends Josh and April and danced it up to a variety of artists including Kenny Larkin (awesome), Mistress Barbara (really awesome), Bad Boy Bill (awesome, but I'm not too into house), Model 500 (FUCKING AMAZING) and A Different World (HOLY SHIT AMAZINGLY FUCKING AWESOME). But I was also privy to people dressing in clothing that didn't fit them, or looked fucking stupid. Can I just say that I hate ICP fans? Stupid music and stupider fashion sense. And of course, as it was Detroit, the place was crawling with them. And if I were a Cetaceanist or whatever you call whale scientists, I would have been in for a treat. The place was crawling with whale tails. How is that attractive? Keep your underwear in your goddamn pants where they belong. But overall a fun day with great music. Tad expensive but whatever.
I think thats all for tonight. Read it up. Comment it up. And read up my other writings.
Love is in the air tonight, motherfucker.
