I just saw Hellboy 2. I would swear I spotted a couple of the Elder Things from "At the Mountains of Madness" in a scene in the Troll Market. I wouldn't be surprised because Del Toro has said he wants to make a movie of that story but that its tough because of the unhappy ending and no love story.
