I must say that I am, and probably forever will be, dissapointed in humanity.
On an slightly different note, I read This in a recent online article from The Guardian:
"The dairy industry acknowledges (as Hippocrates did) that some people are allergic to milk - though this makes it sound as if the problem lies in the individual's aberrant constitution, rather than in the beverage itself. Yet, when you look at it more closely, the extent of lactose intolerance is extraordinary. Lactose is the sugar in milk, and it needs to be broken down by the enzyme lactase that lives in our intestines and bowels. If the lactose we absorb is greater than our lactase capacity, undigested lactose travels to the large intestine, where it ferments, producing gas, carbon dioxide and lactic acid. The result? Bloating, cramps, diarrhoea and farts. "
Not only is it a fact, but they used the word "farts" in an actual news article. Wonderous.
One last note: Beer is better for you (nutritionally, at least) than milk. It's a fact, kiddies.
Ok, I lied...that wasn't the last thing...I'm really really itching for something new to read or watch. I feel like I've seen every movie in my collection at least 10 times, and I've read every book I own at least twice. I'm bored...
Blaaaaahhhhhhh........
