Hmm, I was in a shitty relationship for almost three years, and while I was crazy in love with the guy, some days he would just take all of his frustration out on me, mess me around, mind games all the fucking time. It ended, and while I still think about him 2 years later, I know that someone that hurts you like that shouldn't be part of your life. You will move on, have patience with yourself. The feeling that you will always be alone isn't true.
You have to open yourself up to meeting people. Get out and do something you enjoy. Join a club, play a sport, join a society or take a class in something you've always wanted to learn. It' amazing how many people you can meet in something as simple as a book club, or a kickboxing or ballroom dancing class. Mainly, focus on relaxing and enjoying yourself. People are attracted to people who are confident, friendly and self-sufficient. Focus on making yourself happy- only then will you be ready for another relationship, and as these things usually happen, when you're ready the right girl will find you.
