Why is sleep necessary?
No one has sufficiently answered this for me... it's always just "You need to sleep.. you can't function otherwise."
I can't seem to function anyway, so what's the big difference?
My body seems to indicate that if I don't get enough sleep, it'll revolt and make me sick, but I'm still testing this theory.

My girl invites me over for dinner... I show up after a long day of lugging large objects around, and am greeted by a beautiful flapper... red dress with black fringe, fishnet stockings, black lace gloves, and a black boa against her beautiful white skin... it was delicious... dinner was good too.
