I love people.

I was quietly and peacefully enjoying a dream not even 20 minutes ago. Sleeping during my only available time slot, midday, as I work the graveyard.

Suddenly, I am jolted to life, smacked back into existence, throttled to awareness... by a voice....

The shrillest, loudest, most hideous & onerous voice I shall ever be graced to hear at such a sensitive time bleating that "They're Live!!! They're Live!!! In Toronto!!! They're Live!!!"

I can only assume that he/she/it/whatever was howling about the Pope... but being a former roman catholic, and knowing about the church's history and being a non-practicing, non-catholic, anti-religious spiritualist... I'd have to say I was a little less thrilled about it.

Let's put it this way... If I was awake enough to function quickly, I would have been out the door, on top of the fucker, ripping out intestines, fashioning a decent noose, and hanging him/her/the demon/the banshee by the ankles just high enough so that I could use abovementioned shitfuck's head as batting practice.

Which is saying a lot for me, as I'm not a violent or vengeful person on a regular basis...

I think I need a mental massage.
