Well, had one last bash for Jim yesterday evening. Was good. Lots of people there to remember him and say goodbye.
Everyone chilling out by a firepit at Bolsa Chica, drinking and laughing and remembering happy things.
Everyone spontaneously gathering around the bonfire, dropping roses into the fire with a favorite memory or a prayer or what have you.
Everyone ending up at varied stages of drunk and somewhere between happy and depressed.
It went well.

I had work directly after the wake, so it was the first time in a few years I was drunk at work. I think it was a valid excuse tho. Nobody seemed to care anyway.
I have a killer headache now tho, and I'm tired.

I'm going to bed.
