The painting thing was fun but not something i'll do weekly. There's a little paint onto everything, which is quite annoying. It was fun to do though.
We celebrated my boyfriends birthdayparty last sunday. The poor man had never had a real birthdayparty before!! Not even as a kid!
It was fun, though i was sort of surprised of who showed up and who didn't.... if friends from around the corner don't even care to show up but stay "online" at msn all day, can you still concider them friends??
If your parents (or mum and steph-dad) promise to come over, but think of a really dumb excuse at the very last moment, that is sort of rude don't you think? His parents have never been here during the 4 years he's been living with me! I seriously don't want my inlaws over every week or so, but it would be nice if they could come over on birthdays. I don't particularly like those people but i think it's seriously disrespectful to your son if you promise to come to his birthdayparty and then don't because of a reason as dumb as the one they came up with.
